Financial Reporting

Bookkeeping:

  • Is concerned with the day-to-day transactions of a business such as entry of sales invoices, vendor invoices, posting accounts receivable receipts and making payments to vendors. The bookkeeper posts the transactions into the system.

Accounting:

  • Is concerned with the analysis of the transactions and preparing the financial statements which include the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.  The accountant presents the financial statements and provides analysis.

Payroll:

  • Running weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls

  • Processing new employees

  • Processing fired employees

  • Federal employee’s withholding certificate

  • State employee’s withholding certificate

  • Quarterly and yearly payroll tax forms
